Overview
Using the ResearchKit platform smartphone app, the goal of this study is to enroll as many women as possible to collect research and information about pregnancy and complications.
Study Information
The study will be done with 100,000 participants, all of whom are pregnant women 18 years and older and who live in the United States. The women will participate in the study individually, and will answer questions based on their current state of health and medical history weekly. They will also be able to submit measurements taken at home based on their weight and blood pressure, as well as pregnancy outcome variables (as in, if they had a miscarriage, had a healthy baby, or the pregnancy ended). Once the baby is born, they will also answer questions about their delivery, as well as the weight, size, and birth date of the baby.
Inclusion Criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Currently pregnant
- Live within the United States
- Own and are comfortable using a smartphone, computer, or tabler
Exclusion Criteria:
- Not able to give consent
- Baby was born before the study
