Sleep Behaviors in Pregnancy

December 28, 2020

Overview

The goal of this study is to determine how many times a night pregnant women change positions while sleeping, as well as to assess if a sleep monitor can help improve sleep behaviors.

Study Information

The study involves 500 participants, all of whom are pregnant women over the duration of their pregnancy. They will be divided into two groups. Group 1 will be wearing a pregnancy coach device that is deactivated over the course of their pregnancy. Their sleep habits will be monitored in a more natural manner. Group 2 will be the test group. They will be wearing the pregnancy coach device activated over the course of their pregnancy. It will alert the woman when it detects supine sleep, and the metrics will be available via a smartphone app.
